What are the cases in which car licenses can be revoked under the current traffic law? Faydety will tell you about 12 cases in which your car license will be revoked.
The traffic officer in the following cases will issue a traffic ticket in the event that the driver of the car commits a violation of the rules and morals to prevent accidents.

1-If a vehicle is without license plates and the licenses may not be reinstated before three months have elapsed in accordance with Article 14 of the Law.
2- The license shall be withdrawn if the car is driven before the driver reports any changes made to the car in accordance with Article 17 of the Law and before the completion of the technical examination. The license shall be canceled from the date of the violation.
3- Running a taxi in the governorates where the usage of the meter is mandatory. The meter must be approved by the traffic department in accordance with Article 28 of the law.

4 - Failure by the license owner top notify the appropriate authorities of a change of his permanent residence as registered on the license within thirty days from the day following the date of the change and failure to fulfill the procedures for transferring the registration if the change of residence is to another governorate within the mentioned date.
5. Failure to pay the taxes and fees of licensed slow transport vehicles for a period of more than three years after the lapse of thirty days from the expiry of the period for which the tax was paid during the validity of the license.
6- Failure to report the change of ownership of the vehicle in accordance with Article 20 of the Law in time or the change of ownership as a result of death within the time specified in Article 21 of the Law.

7- Failure to report the transfer of ownership and complete the procedures for transferring the registration within 30 days from the day following the date of the issuance of the title deed as per the provision of Article 10 of the Law. The license is considered canceled from the day following the expiry of the grace period in accordance with Article 19 of the Law.
8. In the event that the driver of any vehicle is repeatedly caught committing an obscene act in the vehicle or allowing it to be committed within one year from the date of committing the previous act. The license will not be reissued before 6 months have lapsed.
9- If the car was seized without plates or with license plates other than those issued to it from the Traffic Department, even if the plates used were issued by the Traffic Department to another vehicle. Or if the car was seized and the plates were replaced by others even if they carry the same data, or if any unauthorized changes have been made to the license plates.
10. If a vehicle is seized while being used for a purpose other than that specified in its license. The vehicle may not be re-licensed before thirty days have passed, and in the case of repeating the same act within six months from the date of committing the previous act, the vehicle's license shall be canceled for a period not exceeding three months. In case of repeating the same act again within one year from the date of committing the second offense the vehicle license shall be canceled for a period not exceeding six months. This shall not apply to the owner unless he has agreed to operate it with knowledge of its use for a purpose other than that indicated in its license.
11- Taxi violations: taxis that operate the passenger transport system with a fee within the limits of a certain area by driving outside the governorate in which it is licensed to drive without a permit from the responsible traffic department within six months of the first violation.
12- Violating the conditions for granting a commercial or temporary license or using it for purposes other than those specified in articles 25 and 26 of the Law and articles 231 and 233 of the traffic regulations. The violating vehicle shall be considered to be driven without a license, but the vehicle license shall not be revoked if the owner of the vehicle is unaware of the violation and the owner of the vehicle may retain the vehicle license unless his knowledge of the incident is proven.
